Invitation for the media
A cultural, entertainment, and shopping mecca, St. Catherine Street tells us the story of its 250-year long history.
Over the years, St. Catherine Street has become downtown's emblematic thoroughfare, more often than not finding itself at the heart of events that have brought the city to life. Through newspaper articles, artefacts, photographs, and films, this exhibition will examine St. Catherine Street's various vocations and the elements that contributed to its development—from the Forum to the Quartier des spectacles, from Morgan's Department Store to Birks Jewellers.
Ms. Francine Lelièvre, Executive Director of Pointe-à-Callière, is pleased to invite media representatives to a press tour of the exhibition
