Invitation to the News Media - Gold-Headed Cane

MONTREAL, Jan. 2, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Ms. Sylvie Vachon, President and Chief Executive Officer of the MPA, invites the media to the awarding of the 174st Gold-Headed Cane.

The ceremony will take place on Thursday, January 3^rd, at 11:00 a.m., at the Montreal Port Authority Building, 2100 Pierre-Dupuy Avenue, Wing 1, in the presence of representatives of the marine industry and the Montreal business community.

Ms. Vachon will meet with the media after the ceremony. She will be available for interviews.

• Space will be reserved for camera operators and photographers at the back of the room (about 30 ft. from the podium).
• Camera operators and photographers are also authorized to shoot throughout the room before the ceremony starts.
