WHAT
Iron & Earth will host a news conference calling on the Government of Alberta to support retraining and renewable energy job creation for thousands of oilsands trade workers who have been laid off during the economic downturn.
The group will share details of their inaugural campaign to retrain 1,000 electricians as solar specialists, and install solar panel arrays on 100 public buildings in Alberta over the next three years.
