REGINA, Oct. 30, 2013 /CNW/ - Information Services Corporation (TSX:ISV) was awarded a Canada Award for Excellence at the Platinum Level by Excellence Canada at a ceremony in Toronto, ON today.
The platinum-level award is the highest level of achievement in the Excellence, Innovation and Wellness standard, and recognizes workplaces with sound, systematic approaches to business, including a commitment to continuous improvement throughout the organization, sustained positive improvements in all areas, and recognized leadership within its sector.
ISC representatives attended the Canada Awards for Excellence Luncheon in Toronto to receive the award. "This award is a significant accomplishment for us," Jeff Stusek, ISC President and CEO, said. "This recognition marks a milestone in ISC's evolution and gives us the tools we need to maintain a healthy and successful workplace now and into the future."
The Excellence, Innovation and Wellness standard serves as a roadmap for organizations looking to improve performance in all aspects of the organization. It is based on both research and knowledge pertaining to success factors in the workplace, as well as the experiences and outcomes of successful organizations. The program includes four levels of achievement: bronze, silver, gold and platinum.
"Excellence Canada congratulates the ISC leadership and all the staff of ISC on achieving the Platinum (the highest level) Canada Award for Excellence under the 'Excellence Innovation and Wellness' Standard," said Allan Ebedes, President and CEO of Excellence Canada. "This is a remarkable achievement that should be celebrated not only by ISC, but by all its stakeholders and shareholders."

"Through our involvement with Excellence Canada, ISC has redefined our approach to core business and our customers," Stusek said. "Excellence has become a part of our corporate culture and we will strive to ensure all aspects of our business continue to meet the criteria set out in the program."
