This latest release follows ISN's publication last month of a similar report geared toward U.S. Owner Clients. These Peer Group Benchmarking Reports allow ISNetworld Owner Client members, companies that utilize contractors in their operations, to benchmark their contractors' health and safety performance against their peers' contractors in the same industry. In addition to the two industry specific peer group sections, this report also provides a cross-industry comparison of key performance indicators spanning across seven industries in Canada.
"A balanced approach of analyzing both leading and lagging indicators of health and safety performance data is essential to establishing sustainable contractor management strategies," said Dag Yemenu, Vice President of Technical and Customer Services at ISN. "By making data and evidence the center of their decision making process, Owner Clients gain insight that helps them build upon these strategies and drive continual improvements."
ISN's Health & Safety Performance Benchmarking Report series is the result of the company's focus on the importance of metrics as a key component of workplace health and safety management strategies. The information provided is supported by clearly explained statistical and analytical approaches.
"Our Canadian subscriber base has comprised a large portion of our core business since 2006, and we are very pleased to be able to offer these unique benchmarking tools to provide insight that can help improve workplace safety for all of our North American clients," said Joseph Eastin, President of ISN. "With almost 12,000 Canadian customers, we will continue to serve as a forum for sharing best practices and performance resources for industries across Canada."
