IT vet Nigel Collett newest T4G Principal Consultant

Former CIO at Tourism BC is experienced in key growth areas of tourism & hospitality, healthcare, energy and financial services

VANCOUVER, Aug. 10 /CNW/ - T4G Limited, a project-based technology services company that grows customers' businesses through smart technology solutions, is delighted to welcome Nigel Collett to its rich stable of Principal Consultants.

Mr. Collett was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Tourism British Columbia, a crown corporation whose core mandate is to market the destination to the world. Directly reporting to the CEO, he was responsible for the Information Technology strategy and execution for the Corporation as well as being a member of the executive team.

He had been with TBC for 10 years and the last seven had been a customer of T4G, which was hired in 2003 to build and host solutions that supported B.C.'s tourism industry leading up to and beyond the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.

"With T4G we created multiple channels where visitors can access centralized repositories of images, content and stories about B.C. and seamlessly book accommodations across the province," Mr. Collett says. "It wasn't always easy, but I was always impressed with the professionalism and talent at T4G. I am looking forward to the challenges and opportunities as we serve customers and build T4G across North America."

With 27 years in IT management, Mr. Collett also worked at Terasen Gas (formerly BC Gas) and Lloyds of London in the U.K. before his decade at TBC. He was responsible over the years for IT projects running the gamut in all those industries; from pipeline scheduling to risk management tools.
