It's a Gold for CTV's MASTERCHEF CANADA with 1.4 Million Viewers Monday

TORONTO, Feb. 11, 2014 /CNW/ - With another 1.4 million viewers last night, MASTERCHEF CANADA is officially the #1 Canadian program of the broadcast season with an average audience of 1.7 million viewers. On a highly competitive Monday night, MASTERCHEF CANADA was the top non-Olympic program of the day among total viewers and all key demos. With an episode featuring the first team challenge preparing lunch for current Toronto Maple Leaf players including James Van Riemsdyk and past Leafs Wendel Clark and Darryl Sittler, MASTERCHEF CANADA delivered half-hour growth and led its next closest non-Olympic competitor by 34% (ALMOST HUMAN, Global/FOX; 1 million).
MASTERCHEF CANADA was the top non-Olympic program of the night in Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary with total viewers and A18-49, and led the 8 p.m. hour among non-Olympic programming in all markets with total viewers and A25-54.
Final data from BBM Canada indicates MASTERCHEF CANADA is now averaging 1.7 million viewers, making it the most-watched Canadian series in the 2013/14 season. Episode 2 climbed to 1.7 million, while the post-SUPER BOWL Episode 3 climbed to a series-high 1.8 million viewers.
