Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man launches its second season at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT and the Canadian premiere of Marvel's Avengers Assemble caps off the evening at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
This fan-favourite programming block will continue to air new episodes featuring viewers' most trusted heroes each and every week - and it doesn't end there. Beginning on Friday, October 11 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT, the Dark Knight joins the Superfan lineup with the Canadian premiere of brand new CGI series Beware the Batman.
TELETOON's Superfan Friday lineup is as follows:
LEGO®: Legends of Chima
Canadian Premiere; Season 1
Premieres Friday, September 6 at 6 pm. ET/PT
The world of Chima is a magical land ruled by tribes of highly-advanced animals who walk and talk like humans. But make no mistake, these animals can still bite. Once a pristine, natural paradise, the land of Chima has become a battle ground for the animal tribes, who are engaged in a full-scale conflict over a powerful natural resource called Chi, a source of life that also holds the potential for destruction. Only a few brave heroes in Chima understand the true nature of Chi and its importance. Their stories, and the stories of those who seek to conquer the Chi, are known as Legends of Chima.
Teen Titans GO!
Canadian Premiere; Season 1
Premieres Friday, September 6 at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT
Teen Titans Go! features the return of Robin, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy and Cyborg in all-new comedic adventures. Inspired by the original 1980s series Teen Titans and featuring the principal voice cast from the original series, the show focuses on the funny things that happen between saving the world and living together as teenagers without adult supervision. After all, these teens may be superheroes, but somebody still has to do the laundry. Pranks get taken to a whole new level by these titans who can turn into any animal or detach their robotic limbs.
Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man
New Season; Season 2
Premieres Friday, September 6 at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT
On his journey to become the ultimate hero, Peter Parker has handled tough challenges. From learning to team up with fellow Super Heroes like the Avengers, to remembering to pick up groceries for Aunt May, Spidey thought he had things all webbed up. Now, his world has been turned upside down as his teammates become roommates and they're left to face foes without the help of S.H.I.E.L.D. But when iconic Marvel villains like The Lizard, Kraven, Electro, the Rhino and Doc Ock team up to take on the young heroes, it's time for Spidey to discover the "great responsibility" of being a leader.
Marvel's Avengers Assemble
Canadian Premiere; Season 1
Premieres Friday, September 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT
With an all-star roster of Marvel Super Heroes including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye, Falcon and occasionally - only when she feels like it - Black Widow, the Avengers are a team in the truest sense. Together, they fight to save the world from the biggest threats imaginable - threats no single Super Hero could withstand.
Beware the Batman
Canadian Premiere; Season 1
Premieres Friday, October 11 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT
A fresh take on the classic Dark Knight franchise, Beware the Batman incorporates Batman's core characters with a rogues gallery of new villains not previously seen in animated form. Along with backup from ex-secret agent Alfred and lethal swordstress Katana, the Dark Knight faces the twisted machinations of Gotham City's criminal underworld led by the likes of Anarky, Professor Pyg, Mister Toad and Magpie.
