It's Time to Get Ready to Taste Toronto's Top Culinary Creations in Support of Second Harvest
Toronto Taste returns for 24th year to unite Toronto's top chefs and beverage purveyors in support of Second Harvest's food rescue program
TORONTO, April 16, 2014 /CNW/ - On Sunday, June 8, 2014, indulge your senses with Second Harvest and feed your soul at the organization's legendary culinary fundraiser, Toronto Taste, presented by The Daniels Corporation. For 24 years, Second Harvest has been serving up this culinary event to the Toronto community, giving people the opportunity to give back in the most delicious way – through food! Held this year at Corus Quay on Toronto's gorgeous lakefront, foodies, tastemakers and first-time Toronto tasters will indulge in mouth-watering gourmet dishes and libations created by 70 of the city's top chefs and beverage purveyors, all in support of Second Harvest's food rescue program.
As one of the original culinary events in the city, Toronto Taste provides a unique experience for guests, giving individuals personal access to the city's top culinary talent such as Food Network chefs Mark McEwan, Bob Blumer, Roger Mooking and many more.
On top of experiencing the chefs' talent first hand and tasting the best food and drinks in the city, guests will take advantage of Toronto Taste's exclusive Fine Wine Auction. This auction will feature a global selection of exclusive and rare vintages sourced from private collections for drinking, cellaring and investment.
Guests will also be invited to participate in Toronto Taste's Live Auction, which will award big-ticket prizes, such as once-in-a-lifetime culinary-themed trips to exotic destinations, to lucky bidders.
For a consecutive 19th year, The Daniels Corporation will be returning as Toronto Taste's Presenting Sponsor. Visit torontotaste.ca/partners to see all the proud supporters who make Toronto Taste happen.
