J-Talks Live: Toronto Star columnist Heather Scoffield on Canada's economy
TORONTO, May 25, 2020 /CNW/ - Award-winning Heather Scoffield, economics columnist and Ottawa bureau chief for the Toronto Star, will share her thoughts on the post-lockdown economy on the next J-Talks Live webcast. It takes place on Thursday, May 28 at 1 p.m. EDT.
At all levels, the Canadian economy is taking a hit amid the COVID-19 global pandemic. Even with federal and provincial governments providing unprecedented measures to help support workers, families and businesses, the scenarios for what a recovery might look like—and when—vary greatly.
