Jacques Cartier Bridge - Night Closure postponed to Friday, July 13: One Lane Open in Each Direction from 11 PM to 9 AM Français
LONGUEUIL, QC, July 9, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) wishes to advise road users that the planned closure tonight (Monday, July 9) on the Jacques Cartier Bridge has been postponed in order to have a longer working period.
Therefore, only one lane will be open in each direction on the Jacques-Cartier Bridge beginning at 11 PM on Friday, July 13 and ending at 9 AM on Saturday, July 14. During this period, the bridge's access ramp from Saint-Laurent Street at Longueuil towards Montreal will also be closed.
The goal of this closure is to perform tests related to the upcoming road work blitz on the Jacques-Cartier Bridge, taking place on July 22, 23, 24 and on July 28, 29, 30, during the Construction Holiday.

The sidewalk and bike path on the Jacques-Cartier Bridge will remain open during this period.
Please note that this closure could be postponed due to weather conditions and would then be moved.
