Jacques Cartier Bridge: Night Work at Viaduct B - Expected overnight closures
on July 20 and 22
LONGUEUIL, QC, July 20 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) wish to announce the first night closures required in order to repair the southern approaches to the Jacques Cartier Bridge on the Longueuil side (Viaduct B).
The closures will take place as follows:
- Tuesday, July 20, 11 PM to Wednesday, July 21, 5 AM: Closure of the on ramp to the Jacques Cartier Bridge from Taschereau Boulevard, towards East. - Thursday, July 22, 11:59 PM to Friday, July 23, 5 AM: Closure of Taschereau Boulevard towards West under Viaduct B.
The closures are to install concrete guide rails and temporary marking. Please note that access to the Jacque Cartier Bridge via St-Laurent and Ste-Hélène streets is still closed to traffic and will continue to be closed during the project.
Motorists will be directed to detour roads in the areas where the work is being done. Please check our maps (http://bit.ly/9AiVD9 and http://bit.ly/b75VBC) showing the different routes.
