Jacques Cartier Bridge: only one lane open in each direction - Night repairs

LONGUEUIL, QC, Feb. 22 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) wishes to announce the closing of three of the five lanes of the Jacques Cartier Bridge on the night of Monday, February 22 at 9 PM to Tuesday, February 23 at 5 AM. One lane in each direction will remain open to traffic during the closing for bridge repairs.

The work will involve the replacement of a bearing below the deck of the bridge. The repairs will not be visible to bridge users other than by the signs installed in the area of the work site.

Please also note that the work may be postponed due to unfavourable weather conditions, at which time the work will be rescheduled to a later date. It is also likely that the roadwork will take less time than anticipated, in which case the lanes will be opened to traffic.
