Jacques Cartier Bridge: Work on Bike Path
LONGUEUIL, QC, March 9 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) wishes to inform cyclists that the usual access to the Jacques Cartier Bridge's bike path located on the Longueuil side will remain closed on Wednesday, March 10 and Thursday, March 11 even though all traces of snow have disappeared.
Cyclists are required to temporarily continue using the stairway located on St-Charles Street to access the bicycle path.
This closure will allow preliminary work to be conducted which will lead to the widening of the cycling path scheduled for this spring.
Please note that the bike path will subsequently be officially opened in its entirety until the start of the widening work.
