Jacques Plante appointed Chairman of the Board of Capital régional et coopératif Desjardins Français
MONTRÉAL, March 30, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - At its Annual General Meeting on March 27, 2015, the Board of Directors of Capital régional et coopératif Desjardins (CRCD) announced the appointment of Jacques Plante, CPA, CA, as Chairman of the Board. A director of CRCD since January 2010, Mr. Plante has served on the Executive Committee and has chaired the Audit Committee and the Portfolio Valuation Committee. This appointment is in the normal course of business at CRCD.
A retired chartered public accountant, Mr. Plante has enjoyed a long and brilliant career spanning 37 years with Deloitte, including 29 years as partner. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Université Laval, as well as a degree in accounting.
