Jazz Air LP announces tentative agreement with its Pilots' union
HALIFAX, June 25 /CNW/ - Jazz Air LP (Jazz) announced today that it has reached a tentative labour contract with its Pilots represented by the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA).
ALPA represents approximately 1500 Pilots employed at Jazz. Further details of the agreement will not be released pending ratification.

Jazz's Dispatchers ratified their collective agreement on March 27, 2010. Jazz's Technical Services (Maintenance and Engineering) division ratified its agreement on September 12, 2009 and the airline's Customer Services and Aircraft Services divisions ratified their agreement on December 16, 2009. Both groups are represented by the Canadian Auto Workers (CAW). These collective agreements are part of the 2009-2010 renewal of all Jazz's labour contracts.
Negotiations with Jazz's 760 flight attendants (represented by the Canadian Flight Attendant Union) and 33 crew schedulers (CAW) are ongoing.
Jazz is the second largest airline in Canada based on fleet size, operating approximately 840 flights daily to 85 destinations in Canada and the United States.
