TORONTO, Sept. 1, 2015 /CNW/ - Participants from JDRF Ride for Diabetes Research joined Eleanor Fritz, Director, Compliance & Disclosure, TMX Group to open the market to raise awareness of the 27th annual Toronto Ride for Diabetes Research. The JDRF Ride is a stationary bike-a-thon which takes place on Friday, October 2 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Approximately 18,500 riders in 21 locations across Canada will participate in this year's JDRF Ride for Diabetes Research to raise funds to support better treatment, research and prevention of type 1 diabetes (T1D).
