Jeff DeLapp Joins McCain Foods Limited as President, North America
TORONTO, May 5, 2014 /CNW/ - McCain Foods Limited announced today the appointment of Jeff DeLapp as President, North America, effective June 2, 2014.
DeLapp takes over the role from Frank van Schaayk, who is retiring next October, and will be based in Lisle, Illinois.
He brings to McCain more than 25 years of leadership experience in the food industry and has a track record of aligning sales and operations for profitable growth. Delapp was President of Lamb Weston from 2002 to 2010. Prior to joining Lamb Weston, he was President and Chief Operating Officer at The Bruss Company (acquired by Tyson Foods).
"Jeff's passion, expertise in and dedication to the potato industry will be of great value to McCain," said President and CEO Dirk Van de Put. "He will be a tremendous asset to both our business and our Senior Leadership Team."
Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science & Business Administration from the University of Oregon and completed his MBA at Northwestern University.
