Anstett began her U-Haul career in March 2007 as a customer service representative (CSR) at U-Haul Moving and Storage of Windsor. In February 2010, Anstett was promoted to area field manager (AFM) of U-Haul Company of Western Ontario, and shortly thereafter was promoted to traffic control manager (TCM) of U-Haul Company of Western Ontario, the position she held until her recent promotion. Today, as president, Anstett will oversee all operations of U-Haul Company of Eastern Ontario, including truck, trailer and storage rentals. Anstett's determination to succeed certainly will drive her team to new levels of achievement.
"Having served in several key areas within the Company and thriving in each, it is clear to me that Jennifer is a highly motivated individual who is focused on results. She understands U-Haul programs, knows how to get the job done and has the unique ability to bring out the best in her team--her enthusiasm is contagious," Spelic stated. "To be successful in the future, we must meet and exceed the expectations of each U-Haul customer we serve today, and Jennifer understands that. She understands that profit is the power to serve," Spelic affirmed. "I look forward to working with and helping Jennifer and her team take the Company to an all-new level of success."
In assuming her new role as president, Anstett is looking forward to the challenge of motivating her new team, and is excited about helping everyone meet all future challenges. Based upon what she has been able to witness so far, Anstett feels she has an exceptional team, and believes they will be her number one strength moving forward. Being promoted to MCP is a goal that Anstett worked toward for many years, and she is excited to have such a dedicated team.
"I have dedicated people who will always give me their best, and I look forward to learning and working with them," Anstett stated. "I want them to know that I am a hardworking, dedicated, results-oriented individual, and I will always do what it takes to get the job done!"
Growing up with a father who worked for U-Haul, Anstett always felt as if she were already part of the Company long before she actually joined the U-Haul Team. She explains that through her father, she learned many wonderful motivational skills and also received helpful insight as to how the Company operates. Anstett also recognized John Fisher, president, U-Haul Company of Hamilton, for helping to foster her skills as a leader. Fisher taught her to look forward to new challenges and embrace them as they come. With the skills she has been fortunate to learn from her father, Fisher and the many other U-Haul Team members, Anstett had the opportunity to work with and learn from, she is ready for her newest challenge and looks forward to working with her team at U-Haul Company of Eastern Ontario in order to serve more and more U-Haul customers.
About U-Haul
U-Haul was founded by a Navy veteran who grew up during the Great Depression. Tires and gas were still rationed or in short supply during the late 1940s when U-Haul began serving U.S. customers. Today, that background is central to the U-Haul Sustainability Program: "Serving the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs." Our commitment to reduce, reuse and recycle includes fuel-efficient moving vans, neighborhood proximity, moving box reuse, moving pads made from discarded material and packing peanuts that are 100% biodegradable.
