Johanne Goulet is Appointed Interim General Manager of the Société d'habitation et de développement de Montréal Français
MONTREAL, Jan. 25, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - The board of directors of the Société d'habitation et de développement de Montréal (SHDM) is announcing the appointment of Ms. Johanne Goulet as interim general manager of the Société. Ms. Goulet, who held the position of director of development at the SHDM since May 2011, thus succeeds Mr. Guy Hébert, who was appointed general manager of the City of Montreal yesterday.
A graduate of a Masters in Analysis and Urban Management (MAGU) and of an MBA with a specialization in Municipal Affairs, Johanne Goulet has been working at the City of Montreal for more than 20 years. She has a solid experience in the fields of urban planning, private and public residential development projects, as well as in the management of municipal services. Before joining the City of Montreal in 1988, she held different positions at the Société canadienne d'hypothèques et de logement (SCHL), namely within the Portfolio and Program Management Division at the Longueil offices.
Ms. Goulet is also involved with organizations working in the real estate and municipal sectors. In addition, she sits on the board of directors of the Office municipal d'habitation de Montréal (OMHM) and was a part of the Consultancy group focusing on the awarding of municipal contracts, a Quebec government mandate.
