John F. Van De Beuken joins NWM Board of Directors

TORONTO, Sept. 27 /CNW/ - NWM Mining Corporation (TSX-V: NWM) is pleased to announce that Mr. John F. Van De Beuken has joined the Company's Board of Directors. Mr. Van De Beuken is a mining engineer with over forty years of mine building and management experience. He most recently served as a director of Alamos Gold Inc. (TSX: AGI) and from 2003 through 2008 served as the Company's Chief Operating Officer. In this capacity he was instrumental in management and start-up of the very successful Mulatos gold mine in Sonora State, Mexico. John has also recently served as a consultant to the Board of Directors of Castle Gold Corp., in the period prior to the Company's sale to Argonaut Gold Inc.
"Since earlier this year John has been a significant NWM shareholder. He brings a wealth of experience in mine management and heap leach mine start-up to NWM and will be instrumental in assisting Company initiatives as NWM starts commercial gold and copper production at the Lluvia de Oro and La Jojoba gold mines. John has been contributing to the project management for several months and will continue to assist NWM in his new capacity as senior mining consultant and as a member of the Company's Board of Directors. He brings a track record of success in mine start-ups and creation of shareholder value and we look forward to his further contributions to NWM," said Chris Berlet, President and CEO.
Mr. Lucas Ewart has resigned from the Company's Board of Directors after three years of service.
