John Lynch Joins the Canuc Board of Directors

TORONTO, July 5, 2012 /CNW/ - Canuc Resources Corporation (TSX-V: CDA) is pleased to announce that Mr. John Lynch has joined the Company's Board of Directors. This addition permits Canuc to leverage Mr. Lynch's considerable experience in both business and the mining industry. Mr. Lynch has been a member of both private and publicly traded organizations and has worked with several public companies in the resource sector. Mr. Lynch served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of NWT Uranium Corp. from June 2008 to April 2012 and has been President of Universal Packaging Systems Inc. since 2003. He was also a Director of Hana Mining Ltd. from May 2001 until March 2011 and has been a Director of URU Metals and Soho Resources Corp. since April 2010. He served as a Director of NWT Uranium Corp. from June 2007 to April 2012. He also served as a Non-Executive Director of Niger Uranium Limited from May 2007 to January 2010. Mr. Lynch was a defensive back for the Ottawa Rough Riders from 1983 to 1985 before pursuing a career in the materials handling business. He has a Bachelor degree in Administrative and Commercial Studies from Western University.
Ken Murton has resigned as Chairman, a position he held for approximately 20 years. Mr. Murton did not stand for re-election at the annual meeting. His counsel will be missed.
Jamie Macintosh did not stand for re-election as a Director due to other work commitments.
