Join Young Adults in an Amazing Race through Toronto
Faith Connections Special Event: Saturday September 24, 2016
TORONTO, Sept. 15, 2016 /CNW/ - On Saturday, September 24, 2016 young adults will explore downtown Toronto with a chance to learn about the city, help the community, bolster their beliefs and win prizes.
"Faith, culture, creativity and initiative all come together in this very special amazing race," says Sr. Mechtilde O'Mara, Ministry Director, Faith Connections. "By taking part, participants will discover surprising facts about both our city and some of the many Toronto institutions founded by Sisters of St. Joseph. In addition, participants will be able to 'give back' to the community in meaningful and inventive ways."
"This is an opportunity for young adults to enhance relationships," says Vanessa Nicholas-Schmidt, Program Director, Faith Connections. "This scavenger hunt challenge allows participants to bond with one another and with Sisters of St. Joseph as the Sisters will operate race stops, interact with participants and provide clues throughout the day."
