Seventh Consecutive Year as Official Wardrobe Supplier of The National Basketball Coaches Association
TORONTO, Oct. 27, 2015 /CNW/ -- Moores Clothing For Men, owned and operated by Men's Wearhouse, announces the seventh year in partnership with the National Basketball Coaches Association (NBCA) to dress the NBA coaches in Joseph Abboud Custom suits for the 2015-2016 season.
Coaches from around the league, including Toronto Raptors Coach Dwane Casey, were fitted during the annual NBA Coaches Summit on September 17th in Chicago, where they selected from hundreds of fabric swatches, in a range of styles and silhouettes, to create original, custom suits. As many of the coaches are former athletes, Joseph Abboud Custom is the perfect solution for Big and Tall sizes, because the garments are tailored to their fit.
"I am very humbled to be wearing Joseph Abboud Custom suits because I never thought I'd have a custom-made suit. They're comfortable, well-fitted and stylish. I feel confident coaching on the sidelines wearing them!" said Dwane Casey, Head Coach of the Toronto Raptors.
In addition to Coach Casey, NBA coaches participating in the program this year include:
- David Blatt, Cleveland Cavaliers
- Brett Brown, Philadelphia 76ers
- Mike Budenholzer, Atlanta Hawks
- Rick Carlisle, Dallas Mavericks
- Steve Clifford, Charlotte Hornets
- Fred Hoiberg, Chicago Bulls
- Lionel Hollins, Brooklyn Nets
- David Joerger, Memphis Grizzlies
- George Karl, Sacramento Kings
- Jason Kidd, Milwaukee Bucks
- Michael Malone, Denver Nuggets
- Kevin McHale, Houston Rockets
- Doc Rivers, Los Angeles Clippers
- Sam Mitchell, Minnesota Timberwolves
- Quin Snyder, Utah Jazz
- Brad Stevens, Boston Celtics
- Terry Stotts, Portland Trail Blazers
- Frank Vogel, Indiana Pacers
- Randy Wittman, Washington Wizards
As part of his commitment to the partnership, Coach Casey will be supporting the annual Moores Canadian Suit Drive taking place annually in July. Moores Clothing For Men collects gently used men's and women's professional clothing items to help give a fresh start to millions of disadvantaged people facing unemployment. Partnering with more than 60 recipient organizations across the country that provide job readiness programs, clothing received from the Suit Drive go towards helping deserving Canadians get back on their feet. Coach Casey will personally be donating clothing to a Moores location nearest him for the next Canadian Suit Drive in July 2016. Last year, thanks to Casey's support, Moores collected more than 64,000 clothing garments for those in need.
"Growing up, I never had the opportunity to have a suit so being able to donate a few to the Canadian Suit Drive is very rewarding, knowing they would hopefully help someone get a job," said Coach Casey.
