Julia Johnston Named Corporate Practice Lead at National Public Relations

TORONTO, Jan. 6, 2012 /CNW/ - Julia Johnston joins NATIONAL Public Relations as the new Vice-President and Corporate Practice Lead for the Toronto Office. NATIONAL is Canada's largest, most successful strategic communications firm.

Ms. Johnston's communications expertise and experience are global in scope, encompassing business and strategy development, investor and government relations, and mergers and acquisitions. Most recently, Ms. Johnston was the co-founder and CEO of mEgo, a Los Angeles-based social media company, which specializes in virtual brand marketing and development. She was also Senior Vice-President, Business Development in the UK for PCCW, the dominant telecommunications provider in Hong Kong, and the development manager for Pacific Century Asset Management (Hong Kong). She has also worked in broadcast and telecommunications law on various matters before the CRTC.
