NEW INDIGO SPOTLIGHT PICK
The Indigo Spotlight program introduces readers to a new standout title every month selected and curated by our expert book buyers. We're pleased to announce that July's Spotlight title is Orphan #8 by Kim Van Alkemade.
Orphan #8 tells the story of Rachel Rabinowitz, a young girl who was sent to live at a Jewish orphanage in 1919 after her mother was suddenly killed and her dad fled town, afraid of being charged with her murder. Rachel and her older brother are separated at the orphanage, and Rachel is put in a unit where she is subjected to X-rays in the name of science that ultimately leave her completely bald from head to toe for her entire life.
40 years later, Rachel has yet to make peace with her past - and so it came to find her. When the doctor responsible for Rachel's disfigurement becomes a patient at the nursing home where she works, Rachel must choose between revenge and forgiveness. Based on true events, Orphan #8 delivers everything you could want from a great summer read.

This month's #WorldsBiggestBookClub title is Me Before You by Jojo Moyes, a much-beloved New York Times bestseller that centres on an unlikely - and refreshingly modern - love story. With the novel's stunning sequel, After You, due out on store shelves on September 29th, and Me Before You hitting theatres as a major motion picture in 2016, now is the perfect time to fall in love with this grippingly romantic read.
Join our online discussion on Wednesday, July 29th at 1 P.M. EST. Follow @chaptersindigo and use #WorldsBiggestBookClub to take part in the Twitter party.
To make this month's Twitter chat even more exciting, @chaptersindigo is thrilled to host Jojo Moyes, the author of Me Before You, in discussion. The best British export since Sophie Kinsella, Jojo Moyes will join us to guide the chat and answer questions about the book.
