MONTRÉAL, Aug. 2, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Fireworks handlers from Royal and FSC, the two companies representing Canada, were awarded the Gold Jupiter at the Finale des Étoiles Loto-Québec that took place tonight at La Ronde. Foti International Fireworks Pty Ltd. from Australia grabbed the Silver Jupiter while BREZAC ARTIFICES from France won the Bronze Jupiter.
The award ceremony of the 30th edition of L'International des Feux Loto-Québec was followed by a 30-minute out-of-competition fireworks presentation featuring a tribute to the music of Pink Floyd. Paul Csukassy, the competition's Technical Director, selected the songs and created the soundtrack while the Italian company Panzera produced the pyrotechnic show design.
Since June 28, the nineteen jury members have evaluated the six companies participating in the competition while L'International's top management awarded the best soundtrack mention to BREZAC ARTIFICES from France for their brilliant musical interpretation of the life of Mandela. The "green" mention was awarded to Pirotecnica Morsani for their use of biodegradable material, manufacturing of the products and safe waste management.
