More great delivery options for Greater Vancouver Area; Kitsilano and Burnaby
TORONTO, July 22, 2014 /CNW/ - JUST EAT is pleased to announce the latest in their hot streak of delivery partnership deals is with Vancouver-based Daily Delivery which will continue to expand JUST EAT's service to the Kitsilano and Burnaby areas of the city. The announcement comes days after the nation's largest service for ordering food online signed delivery partnership deals with small businesses in Calgary (Empire Delivery Services), Montreal (Eat Up), Saskatoon (Can U Deliver) and Winnipeg (Mobile Maitre D).
Until now, JUST EAT has offered delivery in the downtown Vancouver area but by partnering with Daily Delivery, JUST EAT is happy to announce that it will be growing through the Greater Vancouver Area and surrounding suburbs beginning late summer. By the end of this year, JUST EAT is planning on joining forces with hundreds of new restaurant partners. For consumers, this means even more great restaurant options available on JUST EAT and more reliable delivery, ensuring hungry Vancouverites receive their piping hot meals in the shortest amount of time.
Brothers Hafez and Sal Rismani are the creators of Daily Delivery and are thrilled to join the JUST EAT family, saying: "We're excited to take our business to the next level as a result of this positive partnership. With JUST EAT, the possibilities are endless!" Reports from other Canadian cities like Calgary have shown that restaurants can see significant growth in orders after partnering with JUST EAT. Drivers have seen an increase in wages with their deliveries due to new efficiencies in routes and delivery areas, and other jobs have been created for the local communities.
In true west coast style, Daily Delivery stays environmentally conscious by using only electric scooters and e-bikes to make deliveries, minimizing the carbon footprint of the business, all while maintaining the lowest delivery fees than any other service in Canada.
In addition to the exciting news about Daily Delivery, JUST EAT is also excited to announce the expansion of delivery partner Can U Deliver to Regina in the coming weeks. "With these latest partnerships, JUST EAT is excited to continue our western Canadian cities with extensive targeted marketing campaigns this fall," says Todd Masse, Managing Director of JUST EAT Canada.
