A LEGO Event at North Hill Centre in Support of Cystic Fibrosis

CALGARY, June 12, 2013 /CNW/ - Fundraising Event for Cystic Fibrosis Canada at North Hill Centre.

Saturday, June 15th - 10 am to 2 pm - North Hill Centre has 100 families registered who are bringing their LEGO creations to display and hoping to win our People's Choice Award.  Everyone who attends the event will receive 1 ballot to vote for their favourite.

The event includes:

• Cystic Fibrosis Canada volunteers managing a silent auction of highly coveted LEGO aprons
• Tots, Kids, Teens and Adult LEGO Displays
• A contest to send one lucky family to LEGOLAND in California
• Plus lots of event day prizes for those registered, guests and spectators.

100% of all proceeds from our fundraising activities go to Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
Cystic Fibrosis is a multi-organ disease, primarily affecting the lungs and digestive system. Cystic Fibrosis causes severe breathing problems making it difficult to clear bacteria from the lungs, leading to cycles of infection and inflammation, which damages the delicate lung tissue. There is no cure.
