TORONTO, March 31 /CNW/ - The Centennial College post-graduate Event Management class culminates a year of studies with the production of Just One Race - The Human Race, a fundraising event for victims of the Haiti earthquake on Wednesday, April 7 at the Centennial College Residence and Conference Centre. All net proceeds from the event will be donated to Free The Children's Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund.
The Just One Race - The Human Race event will encompass culinary displays showcasing a range of multicultural cuisine from some of Toronto's top chefs, live and silent auctions, and entertainment including the Juno Award-winning band The Wilkinsons.
"The devastation in Haiti is catastrophic and the relief effort will be ongoing for years to come. It is a great privilege to lead the students of the Centennial College Event Management post-graduate class in what is sure to be a night of great food and fun for such a great cause," says Bob Dallas, Event Management Program Coordinator.
In addition to the culinary displays, auctions and live entertainment, attendees can learn what they can do to help the relief effort in Haiti from two keynote speakers from Free The Children.
Tickets for Just One Race - The Human Race are $100 and are available by calling the Just One Race marketing department at 416-438-2216, ext. 6298. Ticket purchasers will receive a tax receipt of $60 for each ticket. For more information, please visit www.justonerace.com.
