Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Canada (JDRF) to Open the Market
JDRF Toronto Ride co-chair Judy Goldring and JDRF Canada President Andrew McKee to highlight ongoing work to cure juvenile diabetes
TORONTO, Sept. 9 /CNW/ - Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Canada (JDRF) will open trading on Toronto Stock Exchange on Friday, September 10, at 9:30 a.m. in honour of the 22nd annual Toronto Ride for Diabetes Research campaign.
The 2010 Toronto Ride takes place on October 1 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. In Toronto, over 1,500 corporate teams will participate in support of JDRF to reach their fundraising goal of $2.75 million. The goal of the Toronto Ride is to help raise funds to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. Type 1 diabetes affects the lives of over 300,000 Canadians.
