K-Bro Linen Income Fund announces appointment of new Chief Financial Officer

EDMONTON, May 12 /CNW/ - K-Bro Linen Income Fund (TSX: KBL.UN) and K-Bro Linen Systems Inc. (the "Company") are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Christopher Burrows as Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer. "We are delighted to have Chris join us," said Ms. Linda McCurdy, President and Chief Executive Officer. "His public company experience combined with his financial acumen and training will be of great benefit as we continue to pursue opportunities to grow the Company and further enhance unitholder value." Mr. Burrows will start with the Company on June 7 and will fully assume responsibilities from Mr. Doug Thomson, FCA upon Mr. Thomson's previously announced retirement from the Company on June 30, 2010.

Mr. Burrows was previously the Vice-President Finance & Administration of The Churchill Corporation (TSX: CUQ). Prior to that, Chris was an Audit & Assurance Manager with KPMG LLP Chartered Accountants. He has also been involved with various educational institutions at the University, College and professional levels as well as various charitable organizations. Mr. Burrows is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta and is a Certified Public Accountant.

K-Bro provides a comprehensive range of general linen and operating room linen processing, management and distribution services to healthcare institutions, hotels and other commercial accounts.
