CALGARY , Nov. 13 /CNW/ - KERN Partners Ltd. ("KERN") announces that certain funds managed by affiliates of KERN (the "KERN Funds") have acquired 4,440,677 common shares of Ember Resources Inc. ("Ember") at a price of $0.85 per share as part of the recently completed equity offering. That acquisition, together with the common shares of Ember already held by the KERN Funds, brings the KERN Funds' ownership of Ember common shares to approximately 15.15% of the issued and outstanding common shares of Ember.

The shares were acquired for investment purposes and the KERN Funds may increase or decrease beneficial ownership or control depending on market or other conditions.
