Keynote speaker announced for Mayor's Housing Summit
REGINA, May 3, 2013 /CNW/ - Mayor Michael Fougere announced today that Amanda Lang, senior business correspondent with CBC News The National will be the keynote speaker at the Housing Summit in Regina on May 13 and 14.
"I am very happy that Ms. Lang has accepted our invitation to speak," Fougere said. "As a respected business journalist, we look forward to hearing her views on the importance of housing and its relationship with economic growth in communities."
As a co-host of CBC TV's Lang and O'Leary Exchange, Lang has a front-row seat to the world's daily top stories in business, politics and economics. Before joining CBC, she helped launch BNN and also worked at CNN and CTV.
Lang's address is on Monday, May 13 at noon. The themes of the Summit are supply for rental and affordable housing, innovation in housing, and partnerships.
