NATCHEZ, Miss., Sept. 23, 2015 /CNW/ -- KFG Resources Ltd.'s President, Robert A. Kadane, reported that the Company's subsidiary, KFG Petroleum Corporation has logged and cored nine feet of oil sand from 4,393' to 4,402' in the Third Wilcox Sand. Production casing has been cemented to 4,600'. KFG has a 13% working interest in the well, the Stockfelt Unit #1, reverting to a 20.25% working interest at payout. The Company will report initial production tests when available.
KFG's previously announced Drouet Pool Estate well in Franklin County, Mississippi, is being completed at present and a report on initial production should be available next week. Also, KFG has staked location for its Barnum #4 well in Adams County, Mississippi and will be moving in a rig to drill the well to 6,800' in approximately three weeks.
