MISSISSAUGA, ON, Aug. 2, 2013 /CNW/ - Kia Canada Inc. has reached an important agreement with a car sharing organization to offer students starting at fifteen universities and colleges across Canada access to a variety of vehicles from the Kia lineup. This alignment which is the first of its kind in Canada will provide the opportunity for students to access vehicles on and off campus and at their convenience in a membership sharing format.
"We are excited about launching this unique program to students across the country as it will allow students a first-hand experience with some of our new and exciting lineup" said Robert Staffieri, Director of Marketing, Kia Canada Inc. "In addition, this alignment provides a great opportunity to promote driver responsibility in support of our partnership with MADD Canada."
The vehicles selected appeal to a student lifestyle and include the Kia Soul Urban Utility vehicle (UUV) and the award winning Kia Rio sub-compact sedan and 5-door.
