Kia Canada Inc. rides with the Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec and the Grand
Prix Cycliste de Montréal as the official automotive partner
MONTREAL, June 29 /CNW/ - Kia Motors, a maker of quality vehicles for the young-at-heart, revealed today the partnership with the Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec and the Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal as official automotive partner. Along with the cyclists, Kia Canada Inc. will be taking over the streets of Quebec City and Montreal by providing over 60 vehicles to support this upcoming, world class event.

As an 'Official Automotive Partner' of the 2010 UCI ProTour events of Québec and Montréal, Kia is supplying official vehicles from its wide-ranging model line-up to all 18 ProTour teams and 5 professional teams invited to the event. Kia's implication will also assist with event logistics, media, and VIP transportation. The Kia fleet is comprised of 62 vehicles that include a selection from its model line-up including; the all-new Sorento SUV, the all-new Forte sedan Soul urban crossover vehicle, Rondo urban utility vehicle and Sedona, Canada's safest minivan.
For 2010, there are 16 road races bearing the official UCI ProTour label. Teams that have been awarded the ProTeam label are required to compete in each event. There are two in North America: the Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec and the Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal. These 2 new events on the ProTour Circuit, bring the world's cycling elite along with their support staff to Quebec City on September 10, 2010 and Montreal on September 12, 2010 - more than 400 people in all. Over the next five years, this stop on the ProTour Circuit in Quebec City and Montreal will contribute to promoting the globalization of elite cycling.
