Kia Canada Inc. sales streak continues at 22 months of consecutive sales
increase while surpassing year-to-date total sales in 2009.

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Nov. 2 /CNW/ - Kia Canada Inc. continues to break best-ever sales months through 2010 while extending the industry-leading sales streak at 22 months sales growth. Kia's design-led transformation continues to be the winning formula that is propelling growth in Canada. A record October was achieved in Canada with 4488 vehicles sold, up 24.6 per cent versus October 2009. Kia Canada continues to out-pace the industry in 2010 with a 17 per cent increase in 2010. A total of 46,821 vehicles have been sold through October 2010.
An aggressive, design-led product offensive that commenced 21 months ago has provided Kia the formula for demand with Canadians. "Kia's current product line-up combined with exceptional value continues to provide Canadians a mix of fuel efficient vehicles and world-class quality" said Maria Soklis, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Kia Canada Inc. "We are on-track to achieve a first time 50,000 plus sales in Canada for 2010 and surpassing our 2009 total sales mark in October is exciting news for our Company".
Kia Canada's product offering was further strengthened in late October with the launch of the all-new 2011 Kia Forte5-Door compact vehicle. October Highlights
Kia Canada Inc. experienced the best October on record in its eleven year history in Canada:
- The all-new Kia Sorento CUV that arrived in Canadian showrooms earlier in 2010, achieved 1168 total sales in Canada marking its best month on record
- The Kia Forte model lineup, Kia Canada's best-selling vehicles for the month and year-to-date recorded 1126 total sales in October 2010
- The Kia Soul, urban crossover continues to be a volume favorite with Canadians with 788 vehicles sold in the month of October
- The all-new 2011 Kia Sportage launched in late July 2010 sustained a 33.4% increase versus October 2009
November Incentives
Kia Canada is providing Canadians with the "Kia WINterFEST Event" allowing all purchasers to win up to $10,000 over and above all existing incentive offers. Incentive offers for November are up to $6000. A unique offering of 0% financing over an 84 month term will be available on all 2011Kia Rio sub-compact vehicles. In addition, other low rate financing for other 2010 and 2011 will be available along with the offer of "Don't Pay until Spring 2011". These options make it easier to acquire a new Kia vehicle. Cash buyers can also select up to eight vehicles from Kia Canada's line-up for under $20,000.
