/CNW/ - Kia Canada's unprecedented sales growth continued in January with sales of 2,416 units. This represents a 32.4% increase over January of last year and marks the 13th consecutive month of year over year growth. Kia's sales success was not confined to one region with all four regions posting record breaking gains. The Atlantic, Eastern, Central and Western Regions were up 31.3%; 37.4%; 43.8% and 12.5% respectively. Kia's strong sales momentum continued along the breadth of the entire line-up with some noteworthy examples like the Rio which accounted for a 21.7% increase in year over year growth and the Forte which accounted for a 31.9% increase versus Spectra sales in January of 2009.
