TORONTO, July 16, 2013 /CNW/ - Kids Help Phone, a Canadian leader in providing vital, innovative and professional counselling services to children and youth, is pleased to announce the appointment of Deb Craven CPA, CA, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Purolator Inc., as Chair of the organization's Board of Directors.
Ms. Craven brings extensive senior management and volunteer experience to her role as Board Chair. Having first joined Kids Help Phone's Board as Treasurer in May, 2009, a position in which she served until May 2011, when Ms. Craven was appointed Vice Chair until June, 2013. Ms. Craven also currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Learning Partnership, a national charitable organization dedicated to championing a strong public education system in Canada through innovative programs, research, policy, leadership and public engagement.
