Kids Help Phone Benefit Concert: Rock to Talk 2009

MONTREAL , Nov. 25 /CNW/ - The student ambassador council for Kids Help Phone is proud to announce the Rock to Talk 2009 benefit concert, which will be held November 27th 2009 at the Champlain College auditorium, in Saint-Lambert at 8:00 p.m.

Kids Help Phone is Canada's only national counselling, information and referral service for kids and teens. This service is free, bilingual, anonymous, and available 24 hours a day, by phone and online. Fundraisers like Rock to Talk 2009 are essential in order to ensure its services are available to any child today, tonight and tomorrow.

The Rock to Talk 2009 benefit concert for Kids Help Phone promises to be an exciting evening. People of all ages are invited to enjoy great music by three local Montreal bands while supporting a great cause. The Kids Help Phone committee members and volunteers are counting on you to make this event a great success and an unforgettable night.

As a charity, Kids Help Phone receives no core government or United Way funding. Instead, it relies on the support of community-based volunteers and individual and corporate donors to ensure that its counselling, information and referral services for kids can continue to operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
