KINGSTON, ON, May 10, 2012 /CNW/ - Kingston BMX celebrates its 30th anniversary this Saturday with an open house and official points race.
The Open House runs from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. at Woodbine Park, 1180 Woodbine Road, Kingston. At the Open House, Kingston BMX is offering a free 1-day membership, along with a free race bike and helmet rental so that people can fully experience this Olympic sport completely without charge.
Starting at 4 p.m., Kingston BMX will hold an official "points race" for their members. Spectators are always welcome, and admission for this fast-paced sport is FREE.
Kingston BMX will continue their weekly Regional Race Series on Wednesday nights. They will host several provincial events as well as one huge national event, the Limestone City National, August 17-19. Over 500 of the best riders from all over North America are expected to attend this event.
