Kivuto Solutions Receives Corporate Donor Award from Ottawa Food Bank
OTTAWA, April 30, 2013 /CNW/ - Kivuto Solutions Inc., the global leader in complex digital distribution, has received the Generous Helpings New Corporate Donor Award for its contribution to the Ottawa Food Bank KickStart Program.
The KickStart Program helps school meal programs and after school clubs provide nutritious meals and snacks to children who often go to school hungry. It also supplies lunches to day camps throughout the summer when school is out. The financial support Kivuto Solutions provided to the program in 2012 helped prevent children in the Ottawa area from going hungry.
"Every dollar donated to the Ottawa Food Bank generates five dollars' worth of food into the community, and the Ottawa Food Bank could not continue its work without the support and dedication of companies like Kivuto," said Patti Murphy, Director, Communications and Development, Ottawa Food Bank. "We are truly grateful and honored that Kivuto has joined us in the fight against hunger. Its ongoing support has enabled us to continue helping the most vulnerable in our community."
"It's an honor to receive this award on behalf of everyone at Kivuto," said Vivek Raju, Senior Manager, Publisher Relations. "All our employees are committed to contributing to the community any way they can, and the KickStart Program is especially important to us because it has a direct impact on children in the community who would go hungry without it."
