Kraus donates $10,000 to the Red Cross Relief efforts in Southern Alberta
WATERLOO, ON, July 4, 2013 /CNW/ - Kraus Group of Companies donates $10,000 to the Canadian Red Cross in support of the Southern Alberta Relief efforts.
An estimated 100,000 residents throughout Southern Alberta have been evacuated from their homes and businesses over the last two weeks due to dangerous flood levels. It is estimated that the infrastructures damage throughout the flood areas exceeds $256.6 million, based on an early assessment by city officials in Calgary, AB. Recovery efforts could take up to 3-years for many Albertans as the level of destruction is substantial.
