TORONTO, Dec. 16, 2015 /CNW/ - Stuart Garvie, President, Bell Media Sales, announced today the appointment of Kristie Painting as Vice-President, Digital Sales, Bell Media, effective Jan. 4.
A senior advertising executive with more than 20 years of experience in media and technology, Painting will oversee all of of Bell Media's national and local digital advertising sales, and is responsible for the complete Bell Media digital portfolio including web, mobile, tablet, and app properties.

A sales and marketing strategy veteran, Painting has watched the digital industry blossom during her career. In her most recent role as Vice-President, Sales, she led the sales efforts for the launch of Checkout 51, a mobile couponing app in the U.S. market, leading to its acquisition by Newscorp less than two years later. Previously she held progressively senior roles at Olive Media, establishing the sales and marketing strategy and execution for the Canadian network from its inception. Her roots go back to the very early days of digital advertising, when she developed sales solutions for advertisers at Yahoo and Doubleclick.
Painting will be based at Toronto's 50 Eglinton office and will work closely with Bell Media's Digital Sales and Digital Operations teams.
