La Capitale is reducing group insurance dental care premiums by 60% to ease the burden on SMEs Français
Quebec, April 20, 2020 /CNW Telbec/ - La Capitale Insurance and Financial Services announced a 60% reduction of group insurance dental care premiums, a measure aimed at easing the burden on SMEs and employees to help them get through the COVID-19 crisis.
"A fundamental principle of insurance is that the premiums should reflect the risk. The confinement measures ordered by the authorities and the limits on certain services are resulting in fewer dental care claims. At La Capitale, we believe this reduction should be reflected in the premiums paid by businesses for their group health insurance plan. This is why dental care premiums for the months of May and June will be reduced by 60% for SMEs with this coverage," said Jean St-Gelais, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of La Capitale Insurance and Financial Services.
This measure will contribute to easing the financial burden caused by the current crisis on the financial health of some 3,000 SMEs and their 70,000 employees and their families, allowing them to maintain their insurance coverage.
Public and parapublic sectors groups
In any case, financial agreements in the public and parapublic sector already allow participants in groups with dental care to benefit from the impact of a reduction in claims.
La Capitale cares about the well-being of the beneficiaries of its group insurance plans and keeps them informed of services available from its partners for maintaining physical and mental life balance.
The reduction of dental care premiums is yet another initiative taken by La Capitale since the beginning of the crisis to support and help its clients and the community. For more information about these measures, go to lacapitale.com/covid-information.
