MONTRÉAL, Jan. 23, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - For the Hivernales, evenko has organized Montréal's biggest outdoor hockey tournament: the Classique Montréalaise. An event on the celebrations' official programming, the tournament will take place at the Olympic Basin in Parc Jean-Drapeau on January 28 and 29.
With team registrations now complete, we are expecting a huge turnout so everyone can enjoy the fun of this extraordinary happening. But, above all, we invite you to come down and cheer on all the players. They'll vie for top honors and defend their borough colours during this major tournament, which will take place on 16 rinks at the Olympic Basin. In addition to rooting for their favorite team, young and old can take part in an array of activities and performances.
On site: a giant heated tent that includes a restaurant/bar, an entertainment area, outdoor games, free skating and shows that will get everyone moving and grooving.
Special note: All activities are free and the site opens at 8:30 a.m. To join us at the Classique Montréalaise, we strongly encourage you to use public transit. Metro station: parc Jean-Drapeau.
