La fête des Neiges de Montréal: 100 % Snow - Snow and an outstanding site
await visitors for the second activity-packed weekend

MONTREAL , Jan. 29 /CNW Telbec/ - There is snow in abundance at Parc Jean-Drapeau as the site of the popular Fête des Neiges de Montréal opens its doors at 10 a.m. tomorrow morning for the second of three consecutive weekends of fun-filled winter activities.

With the help of Mother Nature, the staff at Parc Jean-Drapeau has managed to make copious amounts of snow so that the 22 attractions are ready to welcome visitors to this second weekend of outdoor enjoyment. And, as Société du parc Jean-Drapeau spokesperson Nathalie Lessard notes, admission to the site is free.

A host of winter activities, shows and snow-sliding sports are on the weekend program, which also includes the presence of comedian Yan England , the event's spokesperson, and Boule de Neige, the likeable polar bear who is well-known to people of all ages.

Among the activities featured during this second weekend of the event, are:

    
    - The snow-tubing slide and the Superglisse
    - L'Allée carnavalesque, the carnival-like midway and its games of skill
    - The Flying Canucks' acrobatic ski shows
    - Sylvain Leclerc's barrel-jumping demonstrations
    - The kids' show performed by the lively Shilvi
    - Groupies Saturday with the Vrak.TV Fan club
    - A get-together with the Rock Détente crew
    

On site, you can rent skates, toboggans and snow scooters, and you can also get warm inside the big tents!
