Park Opens Saturday, May 11
MONTREAL, April 25, 2019 /CNW Telbec/ - La Ronde, Quebec's leading destination for thrills and family entertainment, will open its gates on May 11 with a giant loop roller coaster, Chaos. This thrilling, new attraction will send riders back and forth and launch them upside down through a series of 360⁰ revolutions. In addition to more than 40 rides and attractions, guests will be entertained all season long with the return of Family Days, L'International des Feux Loto-Québec, Bavarian Weekends, La Nuit Blanche and the ever-popular Fright Fest®.
"La Ronde is proud to deliver innovative rides and attractions year after year for families and thrill seekers alike," said La Ronde Park President, Janine Durette. "As the premier entertainment destination in Eastern Canada, it is our joy to offer our guests the best experience and to create lasting memories for generations to come."
The all-new Chaos features a single 7-story loop that swings riders back and forth, higher and higher before soaring through multiple heart-pounding revolutions. The coaster changes directions halfway through the ride cycle, leaving riders suspended upside down at the top of the loop for even more intense thrills. Other thrilling highlights include:
- 24 riders sitting in unique face-to-face seating positions;
- A pendulum style takeoff with multiple 360⁰ revolutions around the 7-story loop; and
- An additional 360⁰ revolution when the train reverses mid-course.
La Ronde has a host of new, along with guest favorite offerings on tap for the 2019 season:

Both restaurants will offer the Freestyle station and will be included in the park's dining plan.
