LAVAL, QC, Sept. 24 /CNW Telbec/ - LAB Research Inc. ("LRI" or "LAB Research"), (TSX: LRI), a Canadian-based global non-clinical contract research organization, today announced the resignation of Mr. Stephen R. Farrell from its Board of Directors (the "Board"), who is stepping down to focus on his professional obligations.

Mr. Farrell, has been a member of the Board as well as the Chairman of the Audit committee since December 2006. The Board expects to be in a position to announce his replacement before the end of the year.
